Here's our EPIC New Year's Life-Planning Guide <<<
One-year Bible Reading Chart <<<
Today's lesson continues our series about how to have an "EPIC" New Year. "E" stands for being EMPOWERED everyday by God's Holy Spirit, and that begins by totally surrendering our lives to Jesus Christ.
Much of today's lesson comes from one of our ROCK SOLID Discipleship Course lessons, all about "How do I LIVE for God? And how do I share my faith?" We're talking about the importance of living with total SURRENDER to Jesus, making Him the LORD of every area, and the importance of our personal testimony.

In this episode, we're completing our study through the book of Titus, today in Titus 3:8-15. The focus is how to MAINTAIN good works. How do we keep doing what God has called for us to do? How do we even go beyond the maintenance-mode of cultural Christianity and truly ENJOY loving and serving the Lord?
Two key verses are 3:8, "be careful to maintain good works" and 3:14, "and learn to maintain good works."
We're not saved by our self-efforts or by merely doing good things, but God does have "good works" prepared for us to do for His kingdom and His glory.
As we continue our verse-by-verse Bible study, today in Titus 3:1-7, our focus is being prepared for every good work, by putting our hope in God's grace and the blood of Jesus Christ. This edition includes an introduction to The Scarlet Cord, Nothing but the Blood of Jesus (a concise call to world missions, by Jon & Ann Dunagan, available as a FREE eBook download -- http://harvestministry.org/the-scarlet-cord -- listen for details and the DISCOUNT CODE on the podcast).
Highlights in this episode include teaching about daring to OBEY (including an encouragement to wives about attitudes at home), to be READY for every good work, to be SWEET, to be free from sin, and to be full of HOPE.
Titus 3:1 "...to be ready for every good work."

Highlights include a few quotes from Elisabeth Elliot, plus a Bible study focus on "exhorting" moms, God's grace and salvation through Jesus, keeping a focus on eternity, and being ZEALOUS for good works.
Following our verse-by-verse study, Ann Dunagan also addresses several practical questions from real-life moms from Louisiana, Indiana, and Washington.
"Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people zealous for good works" (Titus 2:13-14).
As we continue our verse-by-verse study through the Book of Titus, today beginning chapter 2, Ann Dunagan discusses the balance between DOING GOOD as busy-at-home moms (in raising and loving our children and families) along with having a passionate heart for the needs of the world. Are we called to love the Lord, or to raise our little ones? Or is it possible to do both?
A key verse is Titus 2:7 which says, "in all things, showing yourself to be a pattern of good works..."

Today's mission-minded focus is PERSPECTIVES about Harvest and Halloween from Matthew 9:35-39.
Ann Dunagan shares from her heart as a Christian mom about how to "deal with" October 31st -- from a biblical and historical perspective, focusing on the need for "Harvest" and being a light for Jesus in this dark and needy world.
Be encouraged as Ann Dunagan shares practical ideas for busy moms and families, about being ambassadors for Jesus Christ and having a passion to be a witness for Jesus, especially during the month of October.
This episode's Bible teaching is from II Corinthians 5:17-21, focusing on the phrase, "Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us..." Highlights also include sharing the "Pumpkin Gospel" or Pumpkin evangelism (by Angie Tolpin -- FREE download at - http://angietolpin.com ), using the carving of a pumpkin to share the good news of God's salvation.
Praying and interceding for the salvation of our children, and trusting God to handle our kids, is VITAL. We need to stand in faith and PRAY for our kids. Whether your children and young and living strong for Jesus, or perhaps you have Prodigal adults who grieve your heart more than you ever thought possible. Let God be GOD in your KIDS!!! As moms, our part is to pray and to trust God. He is ABLE. He loves our kids and God can do anything.
Do not FEAR, even for your children's salvation. Worry and anxiety are not helpful "Momma-attitudes" to have; but they are traps and snares of the enemy. No matter what the present situation is regarding your children, the virtuous woman can stand on God's Word and PRAY in faith.
This week, we're focusing on how to face your FEARS with FAITH, by the power of God's Word and prayer. Today, we're looking at being fearful for the teenage years. This is nothing to joke and worry about, but a season of parenting that requires solid trust and warrior faith.
In this episode, Ann Dunagan shares basic foundations of what we believe as Christians. What is Christianity all about? What is so important about the CROSS and the blood of Jesus? How can we know that Christianity is true? And what about all the other religions in the world? Does it really matter what a person believes, as long as he or she is sincere?
Much of this episode is from The Scarlet Cord: Nothing but the Blood of Jesus, by Jon & Ann Dunagan.
